If you watch the animation frame by frame, you’ll see multiples of Bullwinkle’s gloves as his arm moves.
How do you get Bullwinkle to read better in the scene? Simple. Just eliminate Rocky. Poof! He’s gone

The animation of these “Special feature” intros is a lot better than what’s in the actual cartoons. I presume they were done in Los Angeles instead of the nascent ValMar studio in Mexico City.
If I were to venture a guess, there probably was a camera instruction to close-up on Bullwinkle, but was ignored. So Rocky disappears since he wasn't supposed to be in the action field, at all.
ReplyDeleteThe character model of Bullwinkle is very similar to the Intermezzo animation, where they fight the thunderstorm and emerge from the daisies. Both were probably shot in Mexico City, but were likely pencilled in L.A.
Rocky does remain intact in the segments with the cyan colored curtain.
