The Wheels on the Cat Go Round and Round
Tom escapes from a rival cat in Springtime For Thomas (1946). Their feet turn into wheels. You’d see the same kind of thing in Hanna-Barbera cartoons 12 years later.

This is all undoubtedly Irv Spence, Yowp.
ReplyDeleteBoth Spence and Ray Patterson animate in this cartoon, albeit uncredited. Mike Lah doesn't animate any footage in this short, hence why cartoon credits of that era can be very misleading.
