Here’s the cat turning into a swirl after getting off the floor. These are consecutive frames.

Here’s Avery’s brilliant timing at work. He has the cat flop its feet up and down, back and forth, on twos. Then the cat launches into a crazed exit from the scene. The transformation is funny because Avery barely has the cat moving for 17 frames before a drastic switch in poses. The change comes across as sudden, more sudden if the cat had just launched into it immediately after getting up.
