Hassan Open!

Hassan continues to guess at the magic words that will open the entrance to the cave, and is shocked when he actually makes the right one. (It’s not “Open Saddlesoap”). Some drawings.



You likely know this is from Ali Baba Bunny, animated by Ken Harris, Dick Thompson, Ben Washam and Abe Levitow. It was released in 1957.

    One of my favorite Bugs Bunny's, but not one I'm expecting to ever see streaming on HBO Max. That service seems to steer clear of any Warner Bros. cartoon with characters (or voices) of any identifiable ethnicity.

      Just wait till MeTV begins running WB cartoons in January--They won't even air "The Prowler" episode of The Flintstones just because of the Professor Rockimoto character.

      Maybe "The Prowler" could be aired in the graveyard shift.
