Woody Woodpecker’s angry in “The Coo-Coo Bird” (1947), as he spends about a third of the cartoon battling the title character.
There are some pretty good expressions as Woody tries to kill the cuckoo with a pair of shears.
The cuckoo gets even. These are a few of the drawings.
Hal Mason and Sid Pillett are the only credited animators but Les Kline worked on this cartoon as well.
