A couple of perspective drawings from Just Mickey (1930).
Suddenly, the curtain in the background changes. These are consecutive frames.
They could just have easily called this cartoon Few Gags. Mickey spends most of the cartoon playing the violin. Uh, yeah.
It is a very odd cartoon, being the (I think) first Mickey after Iwerks left. Walt seemed to be starting the series over, with this cartoon serving as an introduction to a more Disney-ized version of the character including Walt's concern for a more three-dimensionally realistic look rather than a more simple moving comic strip look. This may be the illusion of life in it's infancy, but I think it shows Walt trying to do something different.
