You had ...Funny enough, I am Bud’s granddaughter. <br /><br />You had a lot of good information and an accurate synopsis here. <br /><br />A bit more background, I guess: <br /><br />He passed before I was born. Bud met my grandmother Jeanne McGee in Sydney, Australia, working for O.W.I. On the very trip, the article describes. They quickly became close friends. From what I understand, he would later leave Jeane for my grandmother. And yes, he married two women named Jean(n)e. That had to be confusing. <br /><br />Other than his radio and voice acting, he had some parts as hammy radio announcers or reporters. Some of his credits include The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) and Elmer Gantry (1960). <br /><br />He was also on an episode of Leave it To Beaver called “Wally, the Lifeguard.” His IMDB has some errors on it, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to rectify that.
