Here’s a promotional film from the 1980s that entices viewers to visit Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong by ship.
A Royal Cruise Lines ship, that is. After all, the company paid for the movie.
The scenery would look great if the resolution on the film was higher. However, I’m posting it solely for the narration. I suspect you’ll recognize the voice instantly.
It’s a shame he didn’t read the copy as Boris Badenov.

ReplyDeleteI wonder what Frees’ voice would’ve sounded like on modern/digital equipment had he lived long enough to see the 2000s. When you hear him, it’s usually through film or radio. Really makes him seem like a guy lost to time.
